PERUVIAN EXPEDITION PHILOSOPHY I have been actively exploring the Cordillera Blanca as well as other areas in Peru for 9 seasons both Trekking, Climbing and in Geological Exploration.
In Peru, I like to give clients the chance to experience life, and adventure off the "GRINGO-TRAIL". I do this by visiting lesser known valleys, and utilizing local guides and assistants whom I have come to know over the years.
During my trips you are given the first hand experience of seeing the life and culture of the local Campesenos in "THEIR ENVIRONMENT".
I do this by visiting the people whom have become my "friends", and they wish to share their lifestyle with us. For this reason my trekking trips are limited to 6 persons which keeps us in an intimate setting with this local culture.
As far as our climbing itinerary, there are many underdeveloped valleys and hidden peaks of various difficulty, where we can explore and climb without seeing large groups in base camp or on a route. In order to increase our success, the climbing trips are limited to 3 Persons. Climbing and Trekking Experience

Lived and worked throughout Peru from May to October from 1993 to 1998 in small villages throughout Peru doing Geological Prospecting, utilizing local staff as assistants. Have done numerous paraglider flights off many sea cliffs, dunes and mountains of Peru. Humanitarian Efforts in Peru
Have been assisting Orfellinda Pasion Barrosa of the small village of Yungay. She had her face completely burned off in June 2003. Have aided her and her family in obtaining medical treatment and reconstructive surgery. This is presently an on going project of mine. It is my hopes that she will be capable of returning to her village to see her 8 year old son, who lives with her sister. Orfelinda has been in Lima away from her family since June 2003.
Assist the family of my good friend Cesar Castromente, whom I have known since 1988. On each trip I bring clothes for his 8 children. For Christmas 2003, I bought them their first Christmas Tree, and Christmas presents. In the summer of 2005, I have been asked to be the god father of his 6 year old daughter Francesco.
